This Android application is developed by Six Offene Systeme GmbH and is available for free. With Maerker, you can report issues like illegal dumping of garbage, broken traffic lights and other infrastructure problems. The app uses GPS to detect your location, or you can manually enter it. Then, you can describe the problem and submit it. After submitting the issue, the administration will inform you through the app or website about the status of the problem and when it will be resolved. The app uses color-coded symbols to indicate the status of the issue, making it transparent for everyone. You can also submit your issues directly on the Maerker website.
